This week, I Completed my first series of cooking classes at the Culinary School of the Rockies. Throughout the past five weeks of the course, I learned a massive amount of information applying the skills I learned at home. Prior to taking the class, I did not know a lot about using the correct cutlery, and cooking vessels/tools when cooking. Using the correct tools will instantly improve your cooking, for the better might I add. That being said, this weekend I am fortunate enough to get to go on a cooking shopping spree at Williams-Sonoma to get a brand new All-Clad set, in addition to some other fun stuff. Realizing how important it is to have the right cookware, I thought this Friday I would provide my readers with a few links to some additional information:
1. All-Clad: Buying cookware can be an expensive purchase especially if you want a quality product and one that will last the distance. The All Clad stainless range of cookware is made from bonded metals including two outer layers of stainless steel and an inner layer of aluminum.
2. The Food Person: The Right Tool Makes Sauce a Snap This publisher reviews one of my new favorite cooking tools, the Chinois
3. Jenny Reviews: Le Creuset Cookware Set Reviews
4. Shun Knives
Here are just a few to get you started. Happy cooking!
