Foodie Friday

Fall came to Boulder this week; I am excited about the seasonal foods that I can now use in the kitchen. Warm comfort foods you can cuddle up with that create plenty of leftovers. Here are some of my favorites from this week:

1. Food Loves Writing: Dark Chocolate Cookies A publisher who recently installed Lijit, this recipe looks delicious after spending a day outside in the cold.

2. Passionate About Baking: Apple and Black Grape Bande Aux Fruits: The time to use apples in baking is now. I love this recipe because it is taken from the pastry chef at the French Laundry

3. Wise Craft: Ginger Crinkles and Spritz Not only is this publisher a Lijit user, but anyone who knows me will easily confirm my ginger snap addiction

4. Wicked Noodle: Peach-Pear Crisp A great Thanksgiving day dessert

5. A Six Course Dinner: Beet Apple Salsa and Curry Pumpkin Hummus Traditional fall flavors with non-traditional fall recipes

6. Chef Mom: Fall Snacks and Dessert Recipes Mom knows best!

7.  Yum Sugar: Delicious Fall Recipes The photos are worth a thousand words

Happy Fall Cooking!

  1. Thanks for the shout-out! I was just in Boulder this last weekend (well, and this morning, in fact), and fall definitely has come! It is lovely. :)
