My name is Jacqueline Malan.
Jacqueline’s Journey: A east coast native turned western adventurer ‘Jacqueline’s Journey’ is a reflection of my thoughts and love for food, yoga, running, politics, and the non-profit sector. Those I meet and the things I encounter constantly change and shape the crazy journey we call life.
Work: I work for Lijit, a tech savvy startup located in the heart of downtown Boulder, Colorado doing business development and front end customer support. I recently left my former employer in order to pursue a career in culinary arts. I will be taking the next 8- 10 months to develop my business model, and hone my cooking skills in order to start my own personal chef/small catering business. In my spare time I volunteer with The Growe Foundation and The Wellness Initiative
Life: An east coast native, I made the decision to move out west to experience the unknown. Prior to living in Boulder, I was living and working in Washington, DC for The National Endowment for Democracy and The United Food and Commercial Workers Union.
Most day’s you can find me at yoga, or on one of the many trails that reside in Boulder. I also regularly dream of attending culinary school and filling my kitchen with aromas of fine food, wine and friends.
